Sally and Paul (Coyhaique, Chile)

Hope you managed to buy enough bread rolls and oats for the next leg of the trip. Good to meet you all in Las Salamandras over the new year. Leche is growing and ****ting all over the place and has destroyed most of Jamies brand new pack towel. We are all recovering from a session yesterday where we consumed 18 litres of beer from a micro brewery. Yes we both fell asleep at the video club. We are now addicted to rock climbing. Safe travels

Love

Sally & Paul

Blenka's reply : Hi Guys, thanks for the message. Hope the climbings coming along and the forearms are holding up ok. Still in Las Salamandras?
Keep in touch!

Hello Boys,
A belated Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you all! Just read your latest blogs and it sounds tough going. I was at work on New Years Eve and drank a toast to you all at midnight, on my own on the roof of the boat. Keep going, look after your knee Jay, look after yours Rich and you stay well Blenk. Hasta luego.

Jay's reply : Hey Pa,

Thanks for the message. Glad to hear you're reading the blog! I have to confess it was weird not being with family for xmas and NYE but the wine and chocolate vodka helped me to soldier on!

Will speak to you soon....

J.

Hi guys,
Happy New Year! I hope everything is going wonderfully. I just wanted to say, your trip looks amazing and I wish you the best of luck. Also I wanted to ask you for some advice. I am finishing my last year at my university and in August I plan on biking from Tierra del Fuego to Quito or vice versa and wanted to know if you could offer some tips, about equiments or routes, or traveling with friends. Anything you can offer is wonderful. I hope joy continues in the trip.

Peace,
Santiago

Hey Where you Guys these days,

John here, New Years Eve, I´m in Futalefu, Chile, near argentine border, its been a wet ride since Villa o Higgins but I guess you know that. I spent a couple aof days in Coyhaquie over christmas. One 2 enjoy the comforts of the place and another to get over them.
I´ve ben lucky, hopefully my puncture nightmare is over. I met a kind Swiss chap who gave me his spare Swalbe Marathon Kevlar Special. I couldn´t believe it right size (nearly) too. We were both met in deepest jungle and made the deal. How´s Jamie knee, thought I might see him in Coyhaquie. Is he back eating up the k´s.

John

Rich's reply : Hey John,

We heard you were in Coyhaique last week from a dutch guy with a big moustache!

We´ve spent the last week chilling in Coyhaique, saw the New Year in here and just been doing a lot of sitting and an obscene amount of eating (even for our standards). Me and Blenk are heading off towards Futaleufu tomorrow, but Jay´s still off the bike unfortunately.

It has indeed been a wet ride up here so we´re gonna cross back over to Argentina the way you´re going to get back to some dry weather, and of course the Tenedor Libres

May the Papas be with you

Rich

I'm at work, and I'm so bored I've resorted to saying hello. Again.

Bring me back a llama so I can start my Llama Farm. If you can't manage a llama I'll settle for an Alpaca.

Take care - keep away from my boy you pair of perverts....

Big love,

J x
