Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year to you all.
Ian, we will miss all the lovely muddy football kit on Christmas Eve and the pungent smell of curry and beer as you stagger in!
Hope everybody's knees are OK now.
You seem to be making good progress - Keep pedalling!
All the best.
Jenny & Chris
Blenka's reply : Be relieved folks, the smells we are creating on the road are far worse than any Christmas Eve football odours. Have a great Christmas and new year all, and i promise i'll be there for the next one!
If i'm not, then maybe send out a search party...

Dear Ian,
Happy Christmas and New Year, following your travels with interest.
Pheww! you are certainly clocking up the miles,
From Aunt Judy, Bob & family.
Blenka's reply : Hello folks! thanks for the message. The miles are really flying by now! Maybe a tenth of the way through we think. Have a great christmas and new year yourselves and lots of love to all the family when you see them.

Hi Guys, Hope all is well with you. Just wanted to wish you all Happy Christmas, especially you, Rich. We'll miss you being with us over the holiday. Hopefully you'll be able to update us on your progress before then.
Take care and have a good time. x
Rich's reply : Hey Jude and Mike,
Hope you had a good Christmas, we´ve reached civilization now so will be catching up on the celebrating (drinking

) over the next few days. We´re about to go shopping for a few days worth of wine, tea and biscuits so we dont have to leave the comfort of the fire for while
Say hi to the family for me

hi guys,
hope ur all keeping safe and enjoying yourselves.
Christmas eve next Sunday and it won't be the same without you.
What chance of a live broadcast to the troops back here in Upminster?
What's the time difference and can u be around an internet cafe at
6.00pm UK time?
We're it would make everyones Christmas if we could work the miracle!
Take care of yourselves
Love Momma & Pappa J
Blenka's reply : Hello Keith and Val! Thanks for thinking of us but it's looking like we're not going to be near an internet tomorrow for the xmas eve shenannigans. Buuuut, Jamie's in Coyhaique resting his sore knee so maybe he can sort out some sort of satellite link-up?
We are genuinely upset to be missing the greatest quiz of the year but try and enjoy it without us.
Merry Christmas!

Blenkinsop!
I've just written all my Christmas cards and wrapped all the presents. I'm shattered, covered in sellotape and the flat looks like a bomb's hit it. To top it all off no one's even sponsored me to do it....
You think you're working hard.....

Hey guys! My girlfriend and I were driving in Tierra Del Fuego national park in a rented silver Fiat when we stopped to say hi and wish you luck on your journey. Keep it up and we look forward to following your progress.
On our way back from the park after meeting you we got in a car accident - we hit a 4 foot long piece of metal in the middle of the dirt road that popped our front right tire. It was getting dark and we were worried that we might get stranded in Patagonia at night without a phone but we changed the tire and made it all the way back to El Calafate!
Jay's reply : Hi Guys!
Nice to hear from you...... glad to hear you managed to destroy that tiny tiny car!
Just a quick note to others reading the guestbook - it was the Torres del Paine national park...... I was glad to be out of Tierra del Fuego a few weeks ago!
Thanks for the nice comments - hope the rest of your trip goes well!
All the best

good afternoon boys. Just thought you may like to hear that we both made it to Puerto Montt without being sick but it was a close call!
You may also like to dream about the fact that it also nice and warm up here with very little wind to batter you incessantly. Do not forget the highest poo challenge ( anything over 5000m should do it) and no sticking it on stilts.
